as the name suggest, its a group of senior citizens.
many in my church questioned the visit. why not the old folk home? why not the orphanage?
the answer is very simple. everyone visit these homes. IMH is one place where no one goes to, or simply and conveniently forgotten.
everyone was so happy, including those patients there. some were there for as long as 30years!
one such old lady who was there since she was 23. the staff told us she have never heard her spoken or happy. but the day when we were there, she was singing christmas carols and dancing with us..... it put a smile on everyones face. Thats us in IMH.

i dont know about others, but it was a rich and fulfilling experience for me, althought i did not do much.
i felt god's pressence that day.
i felt family.
i felt love.
i felt peace.
i felt joy.
i felt appreciation.
i felt i was in heaven.
here i must say a big thank you to my mother in law, she was the one and with a few of her friends in church who took the time and trouble to make it happen despite all the difficulities they face. God bless them.
below, our christmas lunch treat after the visit to IMH.

another useless thought.
