we were having a dicussion on government the other day while driving back to the office.

not sure how it got started. i think we were talking about election and the good economic environment of late.

someone said that the goverment is unfair to the oppositions and trying to hang on to power.

i pose this very simple question to them:

if you are the government would you let your opponents win so easily?

true?

i mean i would also gladly vote for opposition, BUT, would i vote for a trishaw man who knows nuts about running a country?

would i vote for a man would bashes singapore. would i vote for an opposition who i know only fight for the sake of fighting the governement without a proper agenda?

i would be a fool. i will be stupid.

if i am the government, i will also give hell to my opponents! why would i want to make life easy for them?

so is the governement wrong? i think not.

is the opposition naive? i say yes.

so i say to them..... BLOODY GROW UP! and be a credible opposition.
