i think i may have solve one of the greatest mystries on the singapore roads.
i shuld get an award for this!
the Mystry question: why do drivers here don't use the signal lights.
2 theories.
1) this is a manufacturer's problem.
a defect or a flaw in the design. the bulb may have been created to flash 10,000 times. no more no less. so being the rich singaporeans we all are, we stinch on everything and anything possible. we choose NOT to use the signal lights if possible...or should i say choose NOT to use it at all....
2) maybe a manfactuer's error.
Notice many conti cars will signal when they filter. a japanese or korean made ones, the driver will not signal. strange? not really. imagine you are drive a japanese car. you lean your right hand n the window ledge and supporting your head with the right had..or just resting that arm....the other haand of course, will be holding on to the wheels.
so, here lies the problem.
the japanese car signal lever is on the right side of the wheel. so how can you flick the lever if your hand is resting on the ledge or supporting your head? you won't move it just to signal right?
think of a conti car...the signal lever is on the left. so we can still flick the lever even if our right hand is resting.
true? the japanese designers are not that smart after all.
cool down all impatient drivers.
another useless thought.
