my 1 minute of fame.... TODAY - WORLD NEWS page 14!

it came....and went.....

however..... jon woo notice it cos he was a fan of the TODAY newspapers. so he decided to give me a call.

we met for kopi somewhere in woodlands.

he told me that he really love the show 'brokeback mountain' by ang lee (pronounce with american slang)....

he said he want to make an asian version of the academy award winning show!!! and along the way earn himself the award too!...i think he is jealous.....

but anyhow.... we had our discussion...on the script, the location and more importantly, of course MONEY!...

its official now. it will be call "Botak Hill". the movie will be part shot at the famous TEKONG island, where the famous botak hill is located...but due to restriction, we will shooting 95% of the movie in canada in the canadian rockies. 2% in TEKONG itself and the rest of it in singapore.

the story will be about how 2 balding guys meet and fell in love in the army... set against the backdrop of where else but the infamous - botak hill.

the movie will focus on their hardships in the army, how they encourage each other making thru the army, how living in a mostly conservative asian part of the world, fell in love in total secracy during their stint in the army.... with their fear of ever been found out, their ideals, their joy and happiness and their future together.

it will be an action pack movie - gongfu, fist fight and yet a love story...with sex and violence, it will be rated SUPER RA!
i mean come on.....action and sex sells...and WIN awards!

its a draft now.... we are still working on it.

the target release date will be in Chinese New Year in 2007.
