4600 and still counting....

thats the scary number of death in the indonesia earthquake.

what is the government doing?....everyone seems to be rushing to give aid...pledging millions in donation, search and resuce teams and military personnel are sent there to help cope with yest another crisis.

up till today, i have not seen the president of indonesian say anything...at least not in the papers. he have not even visited the diaster site..a least not shown in the papers ( if workers can get in there to try to rescue victims, i am sure he can fing his way in there), but strangely he had the time to go see a sick and dying ex-president who according to them cheated the country of millions!..and more surprising, he say he is not going to doing anything about it.....its not up to him?

why? human lives are cheap there? not worth his effort?
