if soccer is a team game....why mention or associate one or two player in a team?

cos in arsenal there is only thiery henry, he makes the team, he carries the team and he scores for the team...... as for man u, rooney....... in france, they have the master and wizard of soccer, zidane..........england, rooney.........

for a moment i thought there were only 1 player in those teams, cos i am dead sure that when a team palys, there should be 11 players!...and i will bet my life savings on it!!!
