i had a debate with my sister last night.

its about identity. who you are and your roots.... the question here is being fake.

how do i define it.... let me give you an example.... here goes....

you are a chinese, but born and bred in america.... you are a fake when you say you are an america and act like a cacasian and deny your original roots. you are a chinese even if you dye your hair blonde... now this is a fake ang mo (cacasian).

you can speak like americans, you can act like one, but you cannot deny that you are a chinese.... your skin is chinese.

so there are a few broad catergories... africans, arabs, malay, eurasians, chinese, indians, cacasians, jew etc

so i am a singaporean chinese...and NOT a chinese singaporean. i am a singaporean first and i am a chinese, that is my roots.

no matter how much you deny it, you are a chinese...an american chinese. you have to rememeber your roots. that you cannot deny it. cos if you dont speak, others will call you a chinese.

the blacks in america is proud that they are african americans..nor america africans..... they are proud of their roots.

here is singapore, there are a lot of youth who act like they are black african americans, they try to walk like them, try hard to talk like them, rapped like them, dress like them and embrace the whole african culture.... and they most funny thing is, most of them have NEVER ever step into the american or as the matter of fact even the african soil!!!!!!

identity crisis? ashame of their own identity?

fake african americans! i can name a few so called "famous people" who acts like them..... but with all these internet police and self rightousness hypocryt people.... i will not name them... as my sister say, for my own safety and the safety of my family.
