living in singapore is a unique experience. strange if you are just visiting. if you are a intelligent life form from another planet, you will fall off your spacecraft.

here goes.....

we have bus lanes, marked out on the roads, specially for buses only, cars (any cars) are not allowed to use them during certain peaks hours. fine by me (no punt intended), but i just have one small little problem. why are the buses almost NOT using these bus lanes? they use any other lane except the bus lane......

cars gets a fine for using them, what about buses who do not use them?

we have speed traps on the roads, cameras to be exact. our expressways have a speed limit of 90km/h but the cameras or the traffic police usually have a tolerance of uo to 100km/h. so these cameras catch cars that are speeding ......fine by me again, but what about lorrys and pick-up trucks or heavy vehicles that have a speed limit of 60km/h but doing a 100km/h on the expressway? the camera don't take the candid camera shots of them.....

so why penalised cars that can drive over 20km/h over the speed limit while vehicles with a speed limit of 60km/h gets away with speeding at more than 30km/h over?

we have marked crossings at traffic lights junctions on busy junction. one lane walking up the other arrow shows the other direction. this is to facilitate smooth human traffic flow.

but we singaporeans will use the opposite lane but not the designated lane. why? on purpose...i dont know

well its monday morning now.... and its the world cup season, i dont have enuf sleep.....

maybe that is why i am not in a good mood...so grumpy and complaining and been bitchy.

but hey, thats what we singaporeans are good at too....complaining and being bitchy, even if its not world cup season.
