so... bollywood is coming out with yet another movie.... its one of those remake movies... boring but a lot of potentials for awards.... and its happening as predicted..... a true life story

scene #1

a new leader came into power he make some changes, everyone bites into the feel good factor, the nation is happy, economy is good eveyone seem to have money to spend

when the timing was good and the ground seems to be in favor of this new leader after a few years...... election was called.

scene #2

the nation went into election mode.... fever pitch!!

there was a lot of sparring sessions, accusations, lawsuits.... counter accusations.... just like in the movie. one of the accusation that came out sstuck out like a sore thumb.... something that one of the opposition said..... the prophecy is becoming true

scene #3

a fortune teller with his little bird in a cage jumping out and picking up a card. and the fortune teller reads:

today, the prediction seem to have some truth (i mean everyone knows, just that no one said anything). after the election, price will go up....

so, soon, electricty price will go up..... cab fare is going to go up. there is no stopping that bus fares wil go up... water price ..... these will send other goods and services to go up, like food and medicine..... daily necesscities... toilet paper!!!

we a smile as bright as the sun he continues.....

at least there is some consolation, said the fortune teller: your wage will not be going up!! (**HUH???)

fast foward to 4 years later... in the hall of justice.....

again the dear leader paints a nice and rosy picture of the future of the country.... then everyone is happy again, buying into it over and over again.

and when the situation was right...*SNAP!! another election fever

by now, after a 4 year absence, the horror of price increased was long forgotten..... the hardships are forgotten.....

scene #5

the movie have come a full circle. you can feel cheated....cos everything goes up, except your wages.

looks like its gonna be a academy award moive in the making..... best film, best actor and actress, best story, best script, best music, best screen play, best location, best director...looks like a clean sweep to me!
