we humans are reaching a very very sad state of our lives.

why?

many children in this so called first world have never seen a live or real chicken.

the only chicken they ever have a very close encounter with is at KFC, i mean they can see the thigh of the chicken, or the wings.... they know if the want original or spicy!.... hmmm or maybe they have seen chicken little the animated cartoon!!

i suppose the kids never knew chicken have feathers....

i was at east coast a few weeks back... i saw a couple with their young kids (about 4 -5 yrs old) riding on 2 bikes. as the reach a boat shed, they stopped....cos there are some chickens runnning around, the the kids seem thrilled to see them. my guess is they have never seen a chicken before, as the father was telling them what it was.

so sad, some kids will only see chickens from the zoo...thats if they parents ever bring them there.
