i read with saddness, the news of singapore longest married couple..... 80years!!!

she was 98 and he 103 years old..... i dont think i can live pass 80 but this couple was married for 80 years...until now she, she was sick and then passed away yesterday.

he is now all alone, his long time companion gone.... no one to share his thoughts with and he is heartbroken.

this is THE story for all young couples, married and getting married..... i mean even those who are married for a long time, we all have something to learn from them. you can hardly find people who stay married, take all the shit and stay in love for 5 years let alone 80 years.

my absolute admiration and respect for them. they leave a good example for all.

i wonder what will happen to me if my wife died first..... and left me all alone in this cruel world..... what's on top of my mind right now ...... who would help me pick up the dead lizards after i kill them and made a mess in the house? but then again, i can't imagine i am still afraid of lizards when i am 103 years old!!!

on hindsight, i think i better be the one to go first. its better that way. i am a natural hermit, she is more outgoing and friendly, she can survive this cruel world, i can't. PLUS...she is in friendlier terms with them lizards than i am!
