washing your car.
it was a sunny and hot sunday morning. me and the wife decide to go to the market to buy some stuff and have breakfast, which we have not done for a long time.
when i got to my car, a flyer was on my windscreen - students are doing their part for charity, they will wash my car for $10, the money will go to the less fortunate kids who have no money to eat in school. i told my wife, i will let them wash my car after we get back from the market.
as we we coming down from the car park, a group of kids was standing at the washing bay...waiting for car owners to let them do their part for charity.
i was thinking..these are good kids... scarificing their time on a sunday and do their bit for unfortunate kids. i like the attitude.
and so when we had our nice breakfast and done our marketing, we came home and i let the kids wash my car and i happily gave them $10..it does not matter if they do a good job..... i just like the kids attitude.... you won't find much of them nowadays.
as i got out of the carpark, another group of them was outside selling tickets for the charity car wash, and they ask me, not knowing that i am having my car washed by their fellow schoolmate.....
20 minutes later i came dowm to the carpark again to collect my car.... again the kids ask me..... and i repeated my answer.....
they were still cleaning my car when i got there.....so i was very very happy....they are really using their heart and soul to clean my red babe!
after thanking them all...i park my car...and walked out of the carpark....again the kids ask me if i want to wash my car...i laugh and i donated more money..... their persistence pays...hahhaaa.... i was more than glad to give.... and i thanked them and told them they have already washed my car....
i felt happy....i did my part for charity
and within an hour...God heard of my good deed...and he too help wash my car again by sending in the rain!!!
haha.....
do your part for charity.....happiness is to be able to help the less fortunate
another useless thought
