this is weird.....

the IMF / World Bank praise singapore for good governace ...scoring high on every aspect of a good country with law and order....

strangely, the chief of IMF is critical of singapore of not letting in those who want to protest (i think for the sake of protesting) rather than sit down and have a proper dialouge....

don't the chief and others in the IMF/World bank people feel safe to walk around in singapore even past mid-night?

the violent protest in cancun cannot be ignored......it distupts the country..people get hurt, property destroyed and money wasted, furthermore its embarassing to the IMF...... nothing progress or contructive came out of that meeting.....

it wasted a lot of money and resources.... same here is singapore..we wasted so much money on resources just to welcome this idiots who are doing nothing to improved the world.....

why are we planting flowers in orchard road? where there are no flowers there for the past 41 years? why do we tar the roads....?? why do we need 4 millions smiles for them..... they dont appreciate it...they want violence and protests..... they want chaos....when this happens..they get to keep their jobs....

so where is the good governace? how do they rate it? what contistute good governance?...... does it mean a country of chaos is good??

double standards? bias? irrational thinking i guess.... WHY?

i guess thats the reason why people want to protest when the IMF / World bank people meet... not so much about the economic policy they adopt, but, cos they are a useless bunch of people who sit in the air conditioned rooms to talk and talk and talk and talk..... BUT ZERO action. after so many years of talks....third world countries still suffer.... children are still dying form hunger.... real people are still sufferring from unfair trade practices....

and what do the chief wants?.....not better formulated economic and trade policies, not helping real people, not helping the real world, BUT to let people in to protest..... idiot!

antoher useless thought
