back up.

its just like the word confirmation.

you only need to confirm once.....no such thing as re-confirm cos when its confirm.. thats it.

so when you back up your data, you only need to do it once. but why are people backing up data twice in 2 different harddisk, and then burn it into a CD for backup...just in case?

i mean the "just in case" part was suppose to be covered by the backing up of the data once...right?

how many back up do you need to do before you think it will be safe from any disruption? there are never going to be 100% foolproof.

the backing up part, is one avenue for us to retrieve data when its lost. to back up so many times is waste of time and resources. imagine you have one data, but you need to back it up in 2 different HD, the burn it into a CD and then file it.

if its lost...its lost. let it be. no need to confirma nd reconfirm, back up and re back up.......

another useless thought
