why do we speak funny?

if you ever notice.....

when we speak to an american...we tend to slang like them.....

when we speak to a someone from china...we will have that bejing slang...

i am listening to this guy speaker to and ang mo right now.....he speaks funny...... half slang...half local......

sound strange
