as expected, it went up....no debate at all...... i mean its so well oiled, the debate seems futile. it was a foregone conclusion that it will go north, only thing is how far north will it go....

they can say anything they want, the fact is, money is the incentive.

i think if the time comes for people to make scarifices, many will stand up and be counted. this talk about corruption, good government and all, i think is rubbish.

in 1965, one man stood up and be counted, along with him.... a few good men. i guess they forgot about it, and its sad.

whatever the system, it did not bred good men and women to stand up and be counted.

so the national song "stand up for singapore", is just a good song with good beat and rhythm...thats all, and every year, they change it tune a little, sometimes jazz, sometimes hip hop........ so i say "stand up my foot" if money is the incentive.

in politics, i think, a person must have the heart to serve, to be with the people and to love the country. if money becomes and incentive for him to serve, then something is wrong. and to base his bonus and increment to the economic performance... i say good luck to all of us. there is really no stopping them to do anything, including increasing all taxes and other economic measures to make the economy perform, so that he can have more pay.....
