everyone idolised the americans..... everything the american does...it was THE best! the green card was much THE thing to have....

Disneyland was awsome..... uncle sam was THE army to be seen in..... everyone embraces te american culture...never mind no one understands it....especially the rock and roll...the hip hop and the rappers...... english music was in and chinese music was like "please dont come near me".... it was cheena! ah beng culture and no one will be caught dead listening to them or dress like them.

everyone was doing the american 'tang'..... everyone wants to live the american dream, big house...petrol gazzling cars..... sun...sea....surf.... beautiful people.....

today..... especially after 9-11, its the american nightmare..... you will be so dead if you are caught with an american passport..... you are the no 1 target everywhere on earth....

its one of the most hated country in the world today.

suddenly, the chinese songs sound sooooo good.... china is THE place to visit and the chinese culture is so interesting....
