sometimes i cannot help but wonder if devils are those invisible creatures floating around.... or are they just like you and me.....

this story really saddens me a lot and i got so upset..i actually lost it in front of a priest.

there was this choir who came to raise funds for our church. they are a 400 years old choir, very famous very humble. of course we were happy. they wanted to also participate in our mass...to be more specific, on Corpus Christi - The Body and Blood of christ.

for people who does not know, this feast is much bigger than christmas, but sad to say many think xmas trees, decorations, turkeys and exchanging presents are more important.

so.... me as the head of thee liturgy committee, was task to be the in-charge of this feast. i took on the job even i know nothing about it. i counted myself blessed to be given this opportunity to be a good servant of God.

so i cordinated with the choir thru email cos they live in germany. and also the people here in the parish.

no one volunteered to help although some did out of lip service and in front of the priest did say they want to help.... just as i have expected.

so i did all my planning and ask my dear wife to help me do other leg work. check on some things and others.

of course uncle tony help. he is a true parishioners. he helped me..no question asked. and herman, the one that help arrange the flowers. they were great help for me. i appreciate it.

on the eve of Corpus Christi, instead of helping these DEVILS came shouting.....there is a wrong word in the banner...... as if to tell the whole world. i would really appreciate it if she tell me face to face and not shout out to let the whole world know and whats more on the eve of the event which even if i want to, i can't change anything.

A quick check, it was not wrong, it was in the book, so if i am wrong, then the book is also wrong!

she goes on to say it loudly in the office..in front of everyone.....

i walk out of the office fuming.....and a priest ask me whats wrong. this is what i say to him...

i walked away.....

on the day of the event, this sacretant came to me and ask me why i build the stage that way..'it should be this way' he said to me ...i was like...hello, the stage was there for a few days..why did you not tell me then...why now???? we can shifted it then.... anyway there is nothing wrong with it...it was just his own opinion!

there was a lot of comments, even when i ask the youth to be the wardens....people ask me why...giving me that suspicious look.... all i wanted was for the youth to participate. to gain experience to organise high Mass. i saw how they work. they were great, if not better than the real wardens.

there are so many DEVILS living among us, we don't know.... they are out to harm you and give you a bad reputation.

anyway, GOD was nice and very forgiving, it was a very beautiful celebration. the Mass wnet on like clock work... and i must say for the first time, it was organised. there was no confusion and chaos. i think the congregation loved it. so i am happy.

the thing is, the closer you are to God, the nearer the Devils comes to you. its a fact.
