10 is a magical number. some people say its a perfect number. to stay married for 10 years is a miracle!!

we have so many friends who got married, and separated. the fastest was 6 months!!

we have friends who never even made it to the altar, but gave birth to children!

so, i am actually proud of myself that i have been happily married for 12 years... yes 10 years just whizzed by and we did not know it.

we share many many happy moments together. there are also many many bad moments. but i guess this is part of the package we call marriage.

i think we have gone through many hardships in the last 12 years, and i think there are many times we want to give it all up...maybe not we, just me. hahahaha.... we kept our faith. God was with us throughout.

we did not do anything special. just a normal dinner at suntec....swensens! hahaa..cheapos we are!!!! but we thought it was just nice, to spend some time together enjoying a meal and thinking of this day 12 years ago, 27 august 1995...... yes mandarin hotel still owe us 2 bowls of bird nest soup they promised....

i am just happy on our 12th anniversary. i hope we have many more 12 years together..be it good or bad. there is really no one else i really rather want to be with than the one person that have been beside me all this while since the days of courtship, guiding me, listening to me, protecting me and taking all my nonsense and bad moods and still manage a smile. the light of my life i guess.
