As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and his brother, Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “ Come and follow me, “Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.“ At once they left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 4:18-20

many people say they love Jesus to death....

many profess their deep faith to God....

but when Jesus comes a calling, many turn away, just like how peter denied Jesus 3 times when they persecuted Jesus.

brave are the ones who like simon peter and andrew left their nets and follow Jesus.

they are prepared to put aside financial benefits, material stuff in this sinful world, luxury, vacation and more to do the work of God. it is really not easy especially in the world we live in today where there are just too many distractions and worldly things that we cannot let go.

to these people and friends that i know who are on the verge of working for God or who are already doing it, i salute you guys..and gals.

working for God is not easy too. He is one tough Boss. there is no financial gains, no 13 month bonus, no variable bonus maybe no vacation... For a start He already have 10 commandments for you have to follow. He demands that you love your enemies. He demands high standards in His work. He expects you to face hardships and demanding and unreasonable followers,he expect you to humble yourself but still serve them with a smile and a heart full of love for them, and nothing less.

Mother Teresa said, "The miracle is not that we do this work, but that we are happy to do it."

welcome to the kingdom of God and may God bless you with his richest blessings and your life be filled with peace and happiness and love. keep the faith, for the reward is great in heaven.

Mother Teresa also said this, "In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. " i just wish i am as brave as you people and answer His calling. take the first step and do something small with great love...

another useless thought
