why is it that the GIC...singapore investment arm not investing in one of the TOP EPL clubs? i think they are more than capable to take over manchester united!! its peanuts!

if the can invest billions into trouble banks....why not soccer clubs? if investing in troubled banks are long term investments as mention by some ministers....then i think investing in soccer team is also a long term investment..whats more, it will help alleviate the standard of our local soccer players.....

why invest in foreign talents? when all they do is leave as and when they want? why give them citizenship when at a wink of an eye, they want to go back home? they are not loyal to the hand that feeds them. once they get their wings...they fly away.... forgetting the original deal.....
