after so many months of the great loo escape.... someone is doing the right thing...by offering a $1million price tag on the limpers head....

i am happy... yet sad at the same time.

happy because there are 2 very very proud singaporean who are willing to take the money out to catch the sucker.... even if its for their own benefit or selfish reasons.

sad.... because its take 2 individuals and not the government to come out with the money when the country have more than enough money to come up with this one million reward for the limper's head.

there are so many ways to come up with the money..... at an instant......

1. increase the erp rate by just 50 cents for a day or two
2. invest one million less in money losing banks....
3. sue one or more oppositions for one million for defamation or whatever...
4. buy 99 new fighter jet instead of 100....
5. increase GST by 0.5%.....
6. take a 25% pay cut for a month.... from the million dollar men
7. take a bit from reserve... i think its a raining day already
8. have a flag day to raise the money.. "catch a limpers fund"
9. set up a few more money gates on the roads....
10. start a bidding campaign for NDP tickets....

there maybe more ways... i don't know.

it don't take a 4A student to know that a reward $1million will get the limper in no time, and it also don't take a 4A student to know that the chances of getting him is lesser by the day.... and its already pass more than 3 months since the limper great escape.... you think you can still find him? he could be in hawaii sipping pinacolada and doing the hula dance now......

of course people will say its the right thing to do, as reported in the papers, giving a huge reward..... is not exactly rocket science. many people have been saying it for a long time. they have lost the first strike initiative.

if he is such a dangerous limper, as he was said to be.... what is one million compare to the lives, stability and economics of the country?

maybe the 80% of the population are worthless compare to the top 20% (they can afford to live else where cos the have the money), that a one million dollar reward is deemed too much?

i am a poor beagle.

another useless thought
