COMPLACENT

that's THE word today. everyone is talking about it since the day uncle lee mentioned it in the papers as a warning to all his children in this land.

then i read the story about the one who flew away at the budget terminal....

it really made me sit up to think of what is happening to this 1st class country of mine..... where efficiency is number 1! a 100% safe and efficient country.

you cannot help but recall a few incidents after the great toilet escape by the limper..... ( by the way, till today, there is still no news about him at all). then who got punished?

then there is the court house break.... 2 almost got away.... who got punished?

i read in the papers, someone complaining about this guy listening in with his ear phone while on duty...i think it was at the causeway check point.

so i was thinking....what are all these happening despite the fact that we were told not to to be COMPLACENT..... be vigilant..... and all the crap....

i am thinking, maybe the morale is low, super low in that ministry.... the punishment is bottom up.... low to mid ranking personnels were punished. the one in charged was not...he is still singing away in his air con karaOK room.... and getting his pay for a job well sung....

so i guess people must be thinking...so what if i screw up? i won't be protected anyway... let it be. the people on top gets away.... even if we try our best and work hard.

be prepared for more blunders..... the people in the front line are not working...and we to be blame.
