i was in the market earlier this morning.... yes i also do marketing (as in buy vegetables, fish and meat kind of marketing)

after getting all we needed, we proceed to the hawker center to have lunch by the side of the wet market.... yap, 11.30am and my wife wants to eat lunch!!

i sat there sipping my kopi and looking at the people walking by the market and hawker center, while my wife ate (i usually don't take lunch). i cannot help but wander...why must old people act and dress like...OLD PEOPLE??

i saw this old lady talking to another old lady she was dress like the typical ah ma style...pants and flowery top (very brown, greenish and black) and she was talking loudly....

then i realized that most, if not all of them dress and act the same way!

do we really need to act like old people? dress like old people? talk like old people? like old people are wiser than young people?

i don't know, but i only hope that when i get to that age... i hope i can still be like a young person.... and not act like my real age... not that i want to be young or anything, but i think we should be more youthful and innocent as we can. i don't have to dress in loud colors, but i also don't have to dress like i am going for a funeral either. and i am also not saying that i want to act cute and behave like a baby boy and break dance!!

is there something wrong with me? nope, i don't think so. i am just thinking out loud.... "why do old people act like old people? must they?
