and so the Arise Amazing Race is over....

i was racing with kids half my age..some even younger! yap, an old man with a bad back, weak knees and fading memory was among the kids..... what was i thinking!!!

31 aug, at the stroke of noon, the race began.......

fast forward, 31 aug 9pm.... our team stroll into church.... we came in first, which we are not surprise..... yap..first from the back!!! hahahaaa

it was all fun and all. my wife and I enjoyed the race. we were running, taking the bus and train, talking and joking.... solving puzzles, using our mouth to take sea water to fill a pile..... doing impossible stunts..... we were dead tire after 15 minutes into the race...... but we went on...we fought for the NEXT 9 HOURS!!!! yap we brave it all....anything that comes our way!

at 9pm, everyone was already in the church having their bbq....and we walked in...amid cheers and clapping.... we made it back ALIVE!!!!

well there were really no losers or winners... it was really just fun and fellowship that matters. we made some new friends..... and we are closer as a family of saints peter and paul.....

fast forward again... monday morning.... i can hardly walk.... i was aching all over....immobilised TOTALLY! it was a fun filled sunday, but a aching monday!

will i join the race again..... maybe..... this time i will train before i sign up.....
