china, who are now i deep crisis with the tainted milk and food crisis are sending 3 men to space.....and there will be a first chinese man doing the space walk.

i am not sure if we should be proud....or if any chinese should feel proud about it.

i agree that it is a huge step for the chinese people. they should stand tall and proud. and then? for what? does it mean anything?

maybe build more weapons? will they use what ever they have learn form these space programs to help her people? to make their lives better?

i doubt so. its the same every where.... every man for themselves. some want to make money out of greed, some wants absolute power...some just want to leave their stupid legacy...... it is NEVER for mankind..NOT for a minute.

at the end of the day, its great achievement.... but still there are 53,000 kids lying in the hospital beds, hundreds still fighting for their lives and 4 dead babies...... and maybe more kids are suffering around the world (and we may never know) because of the total lack of respect for man kind in general on the part of the chinese government.

no matter who resigns...no matter how much the government say about taking steps to ensure food production and quality...... their walk in space for them is like a walk into the black hole.... no one really know what real and what is not..... it is dark... and untested..... and its a whole load of rubbish from them to please the people in the world.... and to tell the world they are doing something.

the space program is meaningless now. so what if they are 'on par' with the world in terms of technology and in economy? they suck big time in basic human care.
