"BEIJING: Three babies died, 158 are in hospital with acute kidney failure and thousands of others fell ill after drinking tainted milk in China, Health Minister Chen Zhu said on Wednesday.

Giving the government's first detailed account of a scandal that erupted last week over milk powder contaminated with a chemical used to make plastics, Chen said 6,244 babies had fallen ill after consuming the product.

While many of those had recovered, 1,327 remained in hospital and 158 of those were suffering from acute kidney failure, Chen told reporters. "

all i can say is all who are involved in this scandal should be given no less than a death penalty! i mean it....death! or better yet...make them drink these milk power as they sit in jail..... let them get kidney stones and die slowly..... so that they know what is it like for the poor little babies....

i also think the chinese government should stop giving any more excuse and get on with tough governing and get to the bottom of all these unscrupulous profit making business and businessmen.....

the chinese government should also know that china is getting bigger by the day, many food stuff, medicine and goods do come from china..... and the world are cosuming them. they have a great responsibility to the people of the world. they cannot ignore that.

so far, tehy have fake oranges, fake fa chai...fake soya source....fake everything..... toxic toys..... fake DVD.... fake luxury goods..... fake so many things that we don't even know....

to make profit is fine, but to make others sick consuming them is another story..

why am i ranting??? i am sad to see so many babies suffering because of them. it upsets me even more because until now.... nothing seem to be done except discovering more such products and more babies are suffering and going to the hospital and now 3 have already died!!!

i appeal to the chinese government and their businessmen.women...have a heart. moeny is not everything. i hope they all can sleep well at night knowing that they have actually killed 3 babies and thousands are still sufferring and may die.

maybe we should start a worldwide boycott of made-in-china goods..... you never know... it may just save your life and yourlove ones too..... hey, i have already mae a concious effort to stop buying made-in-chian stuff a long time ago... its just too scary.
