soccer is dead. BIG money is in.

money talks.

quote

'You just have to appreciate the money they have got,' Giggs told Key103. 'Signing Robinho is a big statement to football as a whole because he is a world-class player.

'With the amount of money they have got to spend, the next few years will be interesting and we will just have to wait and see what happens.'

unquote

interesting??

today, soccer in england is not about who score how many goals.... or how beautiful the game is. its about which owner can splash how many million pounds...... freely for the best players and best manager.... and they will be shameless about it..because they have nothing but CASH!

christiano ronaldo for 135pounds???

its gonna get worst.

players are demanding more money.... ifs not they threaten to leave the club. contract means nothing. players play the sulk game...like a child forbidden of some treat.

the fans is going to suffer in the end. the will have to pay MORE for tickets. the are going to pay MORE for TV rights.... they are going to pay MORE for their club souvenirs. they are just gonna pay MORE for everything related to soccer

the ball is round they say, anything can happen in a game.... but yap...soccer is dead..round, square, oval or flat.....

i have already unsubscribe my cable for sports channel.... i am not buying the newpaper anymore for soccer news (maybe refer soccer news in The Business Times??)..... and IF manchester united were to be bought over by a free spending billionaire....then i will also NOT support my childhood club any more too...... as it is now... i am unhappy with the 2 owners in the club...... they have zero interest in soccer....they only want to make BIG money.

hmmmm...maybe i should support the 'NTUC Income YEOs S-league'......????? then again.... i better sleep than watch them play....

another useless thought
