the other day, i was having a intelligent conversation with the wife......

what is beauty? there was this article in the sunday's paper where some actress were asked about faking their looks..... and looking beautiful and good.

so... they have push up bras.... false eye lashes.... color eye lens.... slimming under wear..... heavy make-up...mascara..... just to look good.

i ask the wife why girls do such things?

"to look good lah..." was her answer.

"but everything is fake....." i said. in the end, when they go home, they remove everything, its back to reality again. they will have no eyelash...no huge boobs...nothing...

worst, after they get married..how? the guy would see the real you..and he might not like your anything...cos the 'goods' does not match his expectation.....

"aiya....thats girls mah..." was her reply.

"????"

then i got trapped.....

"so you think i pretty..."

"............"

"er....... " *sweat*

then i spin something that i myself was amazed....actually....its really how i felt.... its not something i spin out of nowhere.....

"beauty is in the eye of the beholder..."

and its true. man are attracted to beautiful women...first....and that i think is only natural.

its the same opposite. female are also attracted to handsome man... maybe his face or his physic....

we live in a very materialistic world, we see things on the surface more than the inner being. the media play a huge role in shaping our minds and how we perceived things. models and actor/actress are made look beautiful (thanks to photoshop) and set a fake bar on what is pretty and glamorous....

in the real world, no one can attain that look 24/7.....

when we see a physically unattractive woman, we go "yucks". ...but if you see look at her in another perspective and discover her kindness and love, then to the man she is as beautiful in every way...though not everyone will see her as beautiful as actually is.

a beautiful woman with a ugly character will not endure her beauty for long.... she will be seen as ugly one day.

so whats with all these fake boobs...fake eyelash... push up bras..... ???? at the end of the day, the woman will still be flat chested, with no super long eyelash, no blue eyes and no perfect skin and a bit of fat around the waist..... thats the real her......

women are women...they will find ways and means to look good....and i am nto too sure if they are suffering.....

i am no pig...... i just wonder why they want to go through all these.....

beauty in the eyes of the beholder...how true.
