taiji is a form of martial art... using a "soft" technique to counter/absorb a "hard" blow.....

silat..... it is some what the same as taiji i suppose.....cos they are always moving....pushing and withdrawing.... much like taiji movement, except silat is the art form of the malay. i am no expert in this...its just my own observation.

so in our neighbour political saga..... i can see a lot of similarities from the way the push blame, shift their stands.... etc..one day they say this and the next day...something else..... they take on hard blows...but they also deflected it with ease and grace......and sometimes very comical.... but very very stylo the milo!!!

so my guess is most of the political leaders there are silat and taiji experts....if the is a 8 dan black belt for silat...i think they all should have a 9dan black belt.... they are the experts of the experts....... the best in the political arena and in the martial art world....

the americans have much to learn.....

i just wonder now where the hell do they find to time to practise this art form??? they are good. they must have sweat a lot and physically torturing for them to squeeze in time to learn......

now that many would be retiring from the political arena....maybe its time to think of their new career moves.....

acting can be one option......

well they are already very very good actors/actress....and script writers...... and combine it with their martial arts...and a dash of comedy.... i can see a explosion of many many jackie chans in the making.....

a next step to politics...... acting.... malaysiawood..... a whole new industry.....

frist movie title "A fight for justice"...

the movie is about a once very very popular politician who became a thorn in the flesh of many.... he was mr clean... he promise Justice for all.... no corruption and fairness to all..... he was later persecuted, made a lame duck.... he was made to look weak and useless. he fought back, but his martial art skill was not that good.... he suffered internal injuries..... badly mauled by his opponents......at his lowest point, he met his "SIFU", master, by the river where he use to go to cry when thing don't get his way...... after much begging and pleading to his new found sifu, there he taught him silat and taiji all combine into one..... and the way of life.

because he was a natural, he was able to master it in a short time, 7 months to be exact..... he shock his sifu...he is the first diciple he ever taught who can master everything in such a short time. well there is a asaying, "there is alwasy another mountain higher then the other".... instead of going for revenge, he saw the "light" and so he decided to quit all his party post and fight for justice from outside the system...... and help the little man on the street

taiji and silat......

another useless thought

I imagine too, that if more leaders would fight, countries would fight less.

Give GBush and DCheney a good, fair beating, and I wonder if they'd be less prickly?
