this morning, when i woke up...i suddenly realised that i am very fortunate indeed to live in this peaceful country......

then i switch on my computer...... and start to flip thru the news website.....and of cause, being a sillyporean..... and a cheapo...... my browser is set to CNA...cos its FREE!!! not like the other one...must pay..... and pay......

anyways...

i saw this head line: HDB to offer 4,000 smaller flats over the next two years: and went on...

Tan Poh Hong, deputy CEO, Estates & Corporate, HDB, said: "We are looking into building smaller flats because we think there will be people who need to downgrade to smaller flats as well as first-timer families who also would like to start with a smaller flat in order to be financially prudent."

i was like...are we taking a step back and the garment is finally admitting that we are growing way too fast for many people to catch up? they finally realsied that the people are suffering????

i don't think so......

then a thought ...a useless thought came into my mind...hidden agenda????

i think it was put in a very nice way to say that "people need.... to downgrade"!!!????? ...... i don't even want to talk about them reflecting their high subsidies that buyers will enjoy...... (its BS!!!)

why would people want to downgrade? cos they need money? cause its too expensive to keep it...cause the cannot keep up with loan payment???? cause they are loosing their jobs????

or maybe they lost too much money... and its time to milk the small time buyers????

come on...don't try to act nice......

just admit the mistakes... and start doing something real to make our lives better..... NOT HARDER!!!

anyways...building smaller flats is the first step loh..... i think.....

then i thought.... i am not that fortunate after all.... my home is not paid up..... price are rising, life is getting harder..... jobs are limited....FT are aplenty.....
