after 3 days the fever finally gone down and out...BUT not without a story...
here goes...
tues... i work up and felt a little uncomfortable...a bit of aching.... and feverish.... so i took my temperature... it was 37.2 degrees..... and was having those irritating cough like once in a while cough and stop...then hours later another cough ..... and then there was the marathon nose...it was running hell.......
as night dawn...... the temperature when up..like a bull run...... 37.8......38.2.....and hit it peak at 38.8..... and stayed.....
was suppose to send the wife to the airport as i tot the temperature would go down since i took some medication....
at 1.45am, the wife got up and took my temperature and told me i better not send her....my temperature was at 38.8...the peak..... and was in no condition to drive....
i was still stubborn..and insist.... she gave a firm no and called a cab...... then she boil barely for me so then i can "cool down"..... she was worried cos she will be away for 4 days..... for training..... (she is so nice..she was suppose to wake up at 230am) she did not went back to sleep.... took some more medication and the hot barely..... at about 3am.... i began to perspire.....a good sign i thought... i was feeling better...the headache was almost gone....
so i sent her down where mr cabby was waiting
i got back home and lay on the bed to rest...and then it was the bull run again..... the temperature went back to 38.8...and never came down...i endure cos i hate to see a doctor and i hate to take medication especially the anti biotic...
the temperature just refuse to go down...i tried gurgling with salt water drink chinese medicine... drank lot of water....more than 3 litres..... i spondge myself with ice, on the forehead...under the armpit.... it did not work..the temperature did not go down.... i endure the whole of wednesday...
thursday..... the temp was still above 38..... it drop slightly...to 38.5... i was still sturbbon..... but by 1030am...i gave in...i was too much for me already......
and now the real story......
i walk to the clinic.... there were 4 nurses in the counter and the clinic was empty..... and i waited for like 5 mins before the doctor called me in...... and remember the clinic was empty!!
in less then 5 mins i was out.... he did not tell me anything.... and i was the one who asked him if my throat was very bad..... andhe goes..."mmmmmm" ... as acknowledgement... i was sick and pissed!!! with his attitude...but then i was too sick to do anything......
and came the bill..... for all the CRAP i got..... $57!!!!! thats robbery in broad day light!!!
$57!!! i cannot believe it at all!!!! i am so not going back there if i fall sick again!!! the clinic is 24hrs i thinks.....peace something was the name...but i can really find no peace after the bill came......
anyways.... i got home took the medication.... and within an hour i feel my fever began to break.... the temperature went down quickly..... and by evening.... i was a lot better......
the running nose stopped...but the cough is still there....
today..fri..the fever is now gone and i am ok now...just coughing only......
was the $57 well spend? i dont think so..... its way too expensive..... to feed 4 nurses... they were talking and laughing quite loudly... and when one of the nurse called my name to collect my medicine...the were giggling about my name.... i heard them but pretend i did not..i was too sick.... maybe they recognised me in "THE POSTER".....
but luckily it works so fast.... hehe...... i am better now thats why i blog about it.....
morale of the story: better die than to be sick..... not many people can afford that kind of money.... its just too expensive...
another useless thought.

Please see a doctor when fever runs high or if you are not feeling well. Just don't go back the to clinics and doctors who don't work well for you. There are good doctors out there and there are illnesses that can be fixed with the right medication. If you don't seek help, you may turn a small problem into a major issue that will take longer to fix, or maybe too late to fix. I'm not joking.
