it finally happened..... YES...its finally happened!!!!! i am here..... i am here....!!!!!!!

after one big round planning to go for our vacation..... from greece.... to eygpt.... to new york and canada montreal to bali... and even melacca..... and sentosa...... and now..... it finally happened.... last night i touch down in cheng du - china!!!! yes... i have finally came to the home of our ancestors.... the land of the dragon!!!

i cannot believe.... seem to me like getting to china is harder to go to then anywhere else in the world!!!

well i am not here for vacation.... but rather on a mission trip.... to walk with Jesus and his people... deprived people. yes... its a mission trip not with spreading of His words but with just been there for the people of God who for the whole of their lives never left their little village. We need to give these people affirmation that they are not alone. and that God is with them...

last night, after dinner.... we had Mass.... it was suppose to be in a beautiful church... but it was under renovation... and so we had our Mass in the priest room....

after Mass, a professor among us, he is from canada montreal... he is a chinese maybe 80 years old. He share this with us: "now we have finally experience what an undergound church is all about... we made do with what we had and we celebrate God among us..... and He loves us...."

it was beautiful celebration although it was in a small hotel room of the priest and 20 of us squeeze in there... just to feed on God's word... truly... the feeling of an underground church is a sad one.... we cannot praise God loud for fear of been heard by authorities... we cannot sing.... we have to be like thieves of the night... move silently....

well... it was an experience....

i have not seen 'action' till now, but we will be going today... to tai yuan and then to some remote village.. and there, the mission work begins.....

i am excited... not just on my virgin trip to china... but also my virgin mission trip!!

i wanted attached a view of my china... view from my hotel room.... hahhaaaa (a frog in the well view) but my blue tooth don't seems be working....

will post them in another post.
