what is a branded japanese TV? branded korean fridge? branded japanese airconditional?

we see this every week in the papers... stores that sells electronic products..... home furnitures... etc..... what is branded???

then you asked yourself.... are they so ashamed to name the brand cos it is an inferior product? i would think so..... how else can you explained the 'branded Japanese' product at $XXX next to a SHARP 32" LCD TV.... $XXXX or a SONY 32" LCD TV $XXXX.......

a slap into their own face for the company who sells such products?.... are they telling us that they sell inferior products? so inferior that they are too ashamed to actually advertise the brand name...???

maybe....

oh... are inferior 'japanese brand' much better than say a local brand LCD TV??? and slightly better than a 'branded' LCD TV??

of late... i have seen "branded japanese" handphones.... ahhahaaaa....what a joke!!

...and i wonder how many consumers/consumers are tricked by this type of advertising?

the next time when we see 'branded' stuff... maybe we should just give it a miss....
