the other day i was reading the catholic news - the singapore version, there was this article about claims that Mary is appearing in Medjugorje....
then a thought suddenly hit me.....
why?
why are catholics so obsess with aparations? don't we all know God is everywhere?
to think that thousands and thousands have been there and claim miracles..... so are all these real? or was it all made up?
i really don't understand why is this so.... maybe God is just not enough for them to feel close to God Himself or to His Son.... or feel that they are anywhere near heaven...
maybe its the affirmation about these 'rituals' that make them feel more secure when dealing with their faith....
didn't jesus say happy are those who believe but did not see....
all these people who have been there, and believed in all the miracles and experience the miracles.... was it all real? or was it their faith that God heal them?? for God pity them.... God loves them....
i also notice.... when the Holy Eucharist is expose...everyone wants to be in front.... the powerful ray of God healing they believed is only at the front... yes they must get it direct..... otherwise, if block by a pillar.... there will be no healing....
but during Mass... where healing is a continual process throughout the Mass... no body wants to be in front, in fact, in my Church, there are many outstanding catholics.... they all stand outside the Church even though there are plenty of seats inside....
to them at this moment... an ordinary Mass... God can heal them... the power shoots through walls and pillars.... they get healed..... BUT is special healing Mass.... the power are not that strong, they must be right in front... DIRECT exposure!
yes, faith is blind. 100% confident 100% believe that God is there for us... we only need to ask and He in His ever loving and forgiving nature will grant us our petitions and prayers.
knock and the door will be open unto you, seek and you will find....
In Matthew 5:8-15
When he entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him asking for help: “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed. For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one, ‘Go’ and he goes, and to another ‘Come’ and he comes, and to my slave ‘Do this’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this he was amazed and said to those who followed him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found such faith in anyone in Israel! I tell you, many will come from the east and west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant was healed at that hour.
the faith of the centurion is what we must learn..and yes, believe and have faith and it will be done for you.
another useless thought.
